This is my 4rd Mazda Miata in 15 years and has been my favorite. Its time to let someone else enjoy it. 1996 Mazda Miata Originally had Black Cloth Interior which is available if you want to purchase for an additional negotiable cost. Originally gold BBS laced wheels are available with center caps after the auction closes for a negotiable charge. Currently has a Brand New Robbins Cloth no zip top with Glass Window and Defroster. (devious bird has already marked his spot unfortunately) Currently has 5 after market wheels with small red center cap covers available at no charge to the winner. One wheel received a tiny scratch at installation and the garage replaced it. Has extremely nice Pioneer Color CD player with Remote control and XM Radio and Iphone/ipod connection. JBL bottom of the line Separates sound fantastic. Connections ready for you to plug in a sub-woofer... all wiring for audio and power are installed... (I am keeping my current subwoofer) Has Very nice sounding-performing Bosal / Brospeed single outlet cat-back exhaust with large Tip The Good. With in the last 1000 miles. New Brakes New Trans shift shaft and top covers (always rot out) you will need to keep replacing each year or 2 to keep things good.. Easy to do. Within last 200 miles New Rebuild engine. New Water Pump. New Large Radiator New Belts New Hoses New Front O2 sensor New Struts New Springs The Bad... Check engine light P1195 EGT Boost Sensor Circuit. Often the EGR valve passages get dirty about every 100,000 miles and need to be cleaned out. I have not taken the time to get this checked out however it should be relatively minor. The Ugly.... Minor rust at rear of rocker panel on both sides.... extremely common on Miatas of this generation... Fix it easy for $400 Under the front fabric bumper cover (bra) the previous owner replaced the front bumper and had it repainted.... however the repaint was not prepped right and used rigid instead of flexible paint. So... The first time someone bumped it while parking a large chunk of paint came off... it was this way when i bought it and I wont repair it because everyone in the DC Metro drives and parks by braille... (no disrespect to blind drivers :-) This damage is completely concealed by the Mazda Cover and has never even been questioned by anyone... Looks great as seen in the pictures.... Summary. Great running and Nice Looking Mazda Miata. Would not hesitate to drive it coast to coast 5 times and am confident that it would only need fuel to make the journey safe.
