If you are looking at this ad, you know the rarity and exhilaration of the Mercedes 500E. This Mercedes Benz/Porsche Collector will never disappoint. I have owned this car for about 2 years and it has always been garaged kept. I added the 19in brand new OZ Mercedes and brand new Potenza RE05OA runflats to bring out the European flare. ($4000). I also have the original 500e wheels as well that will go with the car. The wire harness has been replaced by the dealer. This car also has a clean car fax. It was part of a car collection of a gentlemen in South Florida. I was lucky enough to find and get it quickly. It is not perfect car, however it runs perfectly. I am always amazed at the speed of this car. It is fun car to drive. It is definitely head turner and for those who are familiar with this model. This is a true Floridian Benz. From what I was able to uncover, it has always been no further north than Orlando, Florida. The paint does have a few blemished and the interior leather on the doors in some areas is pulling away from age which is common for this model. In the last two years I also replaced the sphere accumulators in the suspension system. I have records of all of the warranty done up 1997. I was told this that 1997 is when the collector purchased the vehicle and began using his own mechanic. From the looks of some of the American Muscle Cars in the group purchase, I am sure this car was meticulously maintained. This one of the reasons I bought. In 2013 this car will 20 years old and us 500e fans hope it will begin to increase in value for those who are interested in holding the model on to 25+ years. In 1993 there were an estimated 498 shipped to the US. and only 1500 or so made in 1993. I am regretfully selling this super sedan because I have always wanted a two seater sports car and now is the time. This car is ready to go for your fun drives on the weekends.
