This is your chance to purchase a 1993 Toyota 4Runner at a great price. Please read the entire post before bidding. Ask any questions you may have. You may come and see the vehicle if you wish. I will describe this vehicle as accurately as possible. The Good: Radiator replaced, Brake lines and brakes replaced at 189,021, transmission rebuilt by Summit Transmission at 131,149 miles, alternator replaced recently, wheel bearings replaced, exhaust replaced at 147, 720 miles, differential oil replaced 167,244 miles, transfer case rebuilt at 167,467 miles, A/C changed to 134a refrigerant at 198,859, water pump & timing belt replaced at 170,390. I have receipts for the work done. The vehicle was a daily driver for my family and was always reliable and drove great. The Bad: The engine developed a head gasket leak and will need to have the head gasket replaced. It will start and run, but I would not drive it any distance without 1st replacing the head gasket. I had planned on replacing the head gasket myself, but after having it sit for several months I have come to the conclusion that I do not have the time or energy to get it done. Once I decided to sell the vehicle I started it up and noticed the transmission seemed to be slipping a little in reverse. It works perfectly going forward, so it may just need a service after sitting. It does have some rust above the wheels and on the rear bumper. My son took the radio speakers for his new vehicle so it will need new speakers for the radio to work. This vehicle was well maintained up until the head gasket leak. It drives down the road very well. It has a very nice Viper Alarm system with two remotes. If someone would put a little work into this vehicle it would be a reliable vehicle. The A/C worked great and the 4 wheel drive works great. I hate to see this vehicle go but I have way too many projects and don't have the time to fix it. My loss is your gain.
