Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 6 speed manual automobile. Rather than list all the options this car has, I scanned the window sticker. As you can see in the pictures, this car is Toxic Orange with black stripes. What you may not notice right away is that the stripes are not decals. The stripes are painted on the car, and clear coated over the top. The stripe decals are a maintenance nightmare. They get fine swirls and scratches in them from just washing the car. If you get wax on them, they turn white. They have an edge to them you have to be careful of so you don't mess them up. So I removed the decals, and did it right. Also, in the picture of the engine bay you may notice a strut tower brace by SpeedLogix. This brace ties the strut towers to the firewall to add stiffness to the chassis. The engine is bone stock. No modifications to the engine. In the picture on the trunk, notice another SpeedLogix strut tower brace. These braces do wonders for how the car feels driving down the road. Not visible to the pictures is the sequential turn signals. They blink from inboard bulb to outboard bulb in the rear, like the old Thunderbirds used to do back in the day. In the picture of the interior, if you look at the shifter, you see it does not have the stock pistol grip shifter. That is a Hurst shifter. It has a very short throw, and the feel is very crisp and accurate. In my opinion, the stock shifter is vague feeling, sort of mushy. Not any more. I had the Hurst shifter rubber bushings removed and replaced with harder Delrin material for an even more accurate feel than the Hurst offers. And to top it off I used a chrome weighted ball instead of the white cue ball that Hurst uses. The weighted ball makes the shift seem smoother due to more weight. You might also notice in the rear of the car, the quad exhaust tips. They are at the end of a Flowmaster American Thunder cat-back exhaust system. This gives the car a louder rumble. Nice and throaty. This car is garage kept. It has never been smoked in. It has never been hit. It is a one owner car. It is better than new. It can be yours! Just outbid everyone else that loves this car when they read what it is! I know I love it, but if I don't get rid of it, I'll end up putting in an Arrington supercharged 426 Hemi. So please take this beauty away from me before I do something stupid! Best of luck bidding! Thanks for looking!
