Vehicle Detail

Please read everything before bidding, and ask all questions before bidding. 1986 Buick Grand National T-tops, easy restoration project. Low reserve price. I have owned this car over 8 years, its been sitting in a dry garage for the last 8 years. Bought it for a project and I never got to it, and I just dont have the time. The car is in decent condition, its not a show car, but its not a rust bucket. Note: mileage is an approximation, I removed a ATR GNX style dash that showed 60,000 miles on it, the GNX dash was install the the mid 90s so my best guess is approx 100,000 to 110,000 miles. It has a factory digital dash in now that I put in, shows 46,934 miles but mileage is not correct for this car. The dash does not light up, I checked the wiring ok, Caspers can rebuild them. Paint has delamination, cracks, and fading, looks ok as a driver, but could use a paint job. Interior is decent, seats have some wear, needs a headliner (easy fix) Old window tinting is bubbling on rear window, needs tint removed. Car drives strong and transmission shifts firm, has 3.73 Richmond rear end gears. Engine has a knocking noise, checked oil pressure with warm engine, 30psi at idle and 55psi 2000 rpm. (may be a simple repair). And it has an exhaust leak, sounds like the left side header pipe, (typical) Has stock turbo and injectors, has a fuel pump hot wire kit. Has the typical surface rust these cars get on the under side of car. Under side of car is dirty, you can see in the pics, and old spider webs from sitting. No bubbles or rust through seen in doors, rockers, 1/4 panels or fenders, (and I've had it 8 years). Minor rust spot at T-top area and some in door jam, should be an easy fix. Over all not a bad project car, fix the engine knock and drive it. Car is being sold as-is , no warranty or guaranty expressed or implied Mileage is approximate, exact mileage is not known. Dash shows 46,934 miles. Buyer must contact seller within 24 hours, deposit via Paypal of $500.00 within 48 hours, payment in full within 7 days. Or it will be re-listed. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. Car is listed elsewhere, I reserve the right to end auction early if it sells before end of auction On Jun-23-12 at 20:24:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Has current registration and tags. On Jun-24-12 at 20:17:51 PDT, seller added the following information: All 4 tires match and are in very good condition, about 90%, and are the stock GN size. Just to be clear, the engine knock would need to be repaired before this car would be a driver. Overall a solid car that needs some work. Recommended to have some mechanical knowledge of these cars or have someone that does. Required that Cashiers Check would need to be verified or cleared before releasing car. On Jun-25-12 at 22:24:20 PDT, seller added the following information: The grill and header looks like it has a dent in the picture of the front, it is not a dent, its just a reflection.
