Here is my 1987 Syncro 4x4 Westfalia in a BEAUTIFUL CONDITION for being 25 years old. It runs and drives great with a complete service just performed. The exterior recently had a BEAUTIFUL paint job with its correct L690D Pastel White paint which looks factory-stunning. At the time, the undercarriage was professionally undercoated to protect it for many years to come. The previous owner was an avid mechanic and Syncro enthusiast and performed all of the maintenance and upgrades himself. A complete engine rebuild was done approx 50k miles ago by the previous owner. Any work that it has required, I've either done myself, or taken to my Syncro specialist. This is an excellent running and great-looking 1987 Syncro 4x4 Westfalia. The beautiful blue interior is in excellent original condition and has never been smoked in. Captain’s chairs are excellent; cushioning is firm and comfortable with adjustable arm rests. The dash, instrument cluster, headliner and other panels are clean and perfect. All gauges work properly. The rear bench seat, which folds into a bed and sleeps 2, is very comfortable. Open the poptop and you can sleep an additional 2 people comfortably. The A/C will need recharging and thats it. The canvas was recently replaced and is in great shape as well :) It has THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in UPGRADES and labor, to name a few: 15" Go Westy Upgraded Alloy Wheels, 5k miles on BF Goodrich Baja Champion 215/75/R15’s, South African grille and headlights, Go Westy Bumpers front and rear, Go Westy 2” lift kit, a nice Pioneer CD Player (with remote), custom rubber mats throughout, and a genuine Fiamma F45 wind out awning. Overall, this has been the NICEST of the 3 Westfalia Syncros I've owned. It's a very clean example, with attentive enthusiast owners. The only modifications from stock were functional, high-end upgrades listed above. All parts used were high quality German or OE items, usually purchased from Go Westy.
