Its front engine, rear transaxle provides perfect weight distribution for razor the sharp handling which Porsche is so well known for. The 928S' 5.0 liter DOHC V-8 engine sporting 4 valves per cylinder is really what this car is all about. Producing close to 300HP, the 928S sprints to sixty in 5.6 seconds, on up to a 168 mph top end. This is stellar performance, especially by 1986 standards. The 1968 1/2 model featured some important upgrades (carried over to the S4 models) including revised suspension settings, larger brakes with 4-piston calipers, and a modified exhaust system. This car is really at home with winding roads and high speed touring as well. The styling of this GT has with held the test of time. The design is as striking today as whwn it was introduced in 1977.
