This is a fairly clean mgb. The body is nice but not a show car it has a scrape or 2 but not all beat up like most the paint was done over 5 years ago and a couple of spots show the age. The floors are solid the only rust is a little on the inner rocker panel and can be fixed or just keft as is a very minor issue. I have had many of these and most are unreliable at best. But not this one it starts everytime and runs like a clock the motor has a little tick from the valves but that is in most of them but it runs strong and never left us stuck. We changed the carb to a down draft webber the most common conversion on these car's. All the electric works even the dash clock! The top is new and fits nice. The interior is in good shape a couple of small spots on the drivers seat like a split from the sun and the dash top has a split from the sun. The radio has been changed and works with speakers in the doors. Overall it is a great car to drive around and have fun with for not a lot of money I would keep it but I just have to many cars at this point so somebody is going to get a deal.On Jun-27-12 at 04:40:29 PDT, seller added the following information: The reserve was lowered and I installed 2 new front tires due ti a vibration from one of the old tires it drives smooth and is ready for some summer fun. So let's get it sold there are 80 people watching this auction somebody has a few dollars more and the desire to own a convertible for the summer season now upon us.
