1970 GTO JUDGE EMULATION, FRESH FRAME ON RESTORATION, Starting point was a virtal rust free body. It was stripped down to bare metal. All the sheet metal was un bolted taken off then reconditioned and under painted before re-assembly. Once the panels were assembled on the body she was painted the correct from the factory color, Baja Gold and outfitted with the correct Judge Decal kit for the color. The final paint was sprayed on the whole body at one time with one batch of paint, so every panel matches perfectly. Brand new convertible top, glass window, pads, seals and liner. Before putting on the top, the frame was taken off sanded and repainted. The interoir was restored with the correct from the factory saddle color with assembled door panels, seat covers, carpet and sun visors. I was sent the wrong top boot as seen in the pictures, being returned. The original engine and transmission are gone but available; they were replaced by a freshly rebuilt 400ci engine with a new dual line 650 Holley and alum intake, engine wiring harness and Headman Headers. Freshly rebuilt 400 turbo transmission with a mild shift kit and correctly bent transmission lines. The rear end was also replaced with a 323 geared GTO rear end with boxed end control arms and sway bar. Gas tank was taken out cleaned/ painted and reinstalled All the springs, ball joints, tie rod ends, brakes, control arm bushings, master cylinder, shocks, windshield wiper motor and voltage regulator are all new. New aluminzed exhaust with the factory tips professionally installed, she also has a new four core radiator. New weather stripping everwhere, new door handles, rocker panel molding, seat moldings, door sill plates, head lights, most light bulbs and the windshield is new. What a great fun investment this is. Sure everyone would love to have a real judge convertible, but could you really drive one around without being conpletely streesed out about wrecking it or someone steeling it, beings only 168 was produced. Enjoy cruising around or showing this truly magnificent example of one of the rarest most disirable muscle cars ever produced. She drives faster: handles better and looks nicer then when new. Yes this was an original 70 Lemans Sport convertible but even they are rare with less the 4700 manufactured and even fewer with factory air condition. This masterpiece drives and looks incredible.
