Vehicle Detail
Plymouth Road Runner Post. A12 clone. Super clean car. Dated coded 1969 383 motor, Holley street dominator intake manifold, newly built Holley 750 double pumper carb with four corner idle and much more (built by steve menos here on ebay), rebuilt 906 heads, high volume aluminum water pump, new OE battery cables, newly built 727 automatic transmission with heavy duty clutches and servo, Cheetah manual valve body, 10 inch converter from Lenny at Ultimate Converter, stainless brake lines, comp cams 480 lift 280 duration cam, new tti 3 inch exhaust with X pipe, dynomax ultra flow large welded mufflers, stainless steel correct exhaust tips from Mancini racing, Very rare Dana 60 rear end with 3.54 gears, new legendary interior (front and rear seats, headliner and carpet. New arm rests, door levers and bases on doors. Manual brakes and steering, four corner drums. Brake lights, taillights and signals all work (new turn signal switch). The horn does not work, I believe it is the horn itself as I can hear the relay switching when I press it. New door handles, antenna, remote mirror, chromed bumpers, aar hood, Gibson restoration pin kit. Rechromed bumpers, all stainless and chrome on car is excellent. New powdercoated exhaust manifolds, new G70-15 poly glass redlines on 15-6.5 wheel vintiques powdercoated rims, Hybrid Fiberglass air cleaner, fire core 50 wires, rebuilt front end including tie rod ends, front end bushings, strut rod bushings, upper ball joints etc. New Evans engine harness, wiper motor from Passion for Mopars, bucket seat console car. This car is beautifully done to look original. Runs great and barely driven since done. Have original hood painted and perfect, it is an air grabber N96 car, I don't have air grabber setup. If you wanted to put this car back to a stock looking 383 car it would be very easy to bolt on hood with painted hinges that I do have and pop on a set of dog dish hubcaps that I also have. Y2 yellow original color. Fender tag no build sheet. Radio not hooked up, speedometer needs cable. This car is not perfect but a very nicely done clone. Runs great, very strong. I have more pics and video of car running I can email, go to youtube moparman294 and you can see video. Not interested in trades. Have all receipts. The paint is an older single stage with a few minor flaws as shown in the pictures, but shows very very nice. New full quarter panels, trunk floor and patch was done on the passenger side floor most likely due to an older heater core leak which was common. Bodywork was done when I purchased this car and done very well. I stripped this car to bare metal on the interior floors and underneath and painted it with POR 15. I assure you there is no rot underneath, this car is very clean. The reason I am selling this car is I have a 1969 Super Bee that is taking up my time now. As with everyone who owns cars, I have a lot of money into this car and the reserve is set at a fair market value for today. Feel free to ask questions before bidding. I have tried to list as much as I can on here, this is a lot of new car for the money. I am an honest Mopar guy just trying to sell one to get another. This car is sold as is and is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. Feel free to email me at luke0523@yahoo.com or call 860-883-9017. Please do not call to ask the reserve as I am going to let the auction go where it goes to the end. Thanks for looking On Jun-23-12 at 17:39:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I understand where the market is today and am not looking to make any money on this car, in fact I am losing money. I have over 27k into this car and am just looking to move onto something else. The reserve has been lowered significantly and I am really hoping that this car goes during the course of this auction. For you math persons out there, at the present time the bid is 19,100.00, the reserve is set at 2 thousand nine hundred dollars above that. I am taking a beating on this car but do not want to prolong the sale. Thanks again and any questions, please contact me. Thanks for the interest.
