2005 FORD ESCAPE XLS----NO RESERVE I am the second owner of this vehicle. Reason for selling is, i was so impressed with it, i just bought a new 2012 ford escape. This vehicle comes with complete service records and it was only serviced at an authorized FORD dealership since i owned it. The interior is excellent condition, and backseat has never been sat in period. It has a reese hitch and i only pulled a small zodiac boat of mine once in a while. I am the only person who drove this truck period. The exterior is excellent, not a dent or a scratch on it, this is a very nice condition vehicle. As far as mechanics goes, i just put 2 brand new tires on the rear, and it just got brand new ball joints in the front from ford, so it is good to go. It leaks no oil, does not use a drop and runs like a champ. The air blows cold and the heat is hot. I average 29 mpg on the highway and 27 in the city with this truck. It also comes with a garmin 205 w gps. Known mechanical issue: On 12-03-10, the odometer, speedo, quit working and abs light came on. I took it to dealer and they said it would be about a 700.00 fix. I asked them if it hurts to drive it this way, and they said absolutely not, so at that point i just use my garmin gps for speed and mileage. I changed my oil every 5,000 or 3 months whatever comes first. Once again, this vehicle is a great daily driver and i would not be afraid to take it accross country tommorow.
