A 1996 Audi A4 Quattro in as-is condition, for sale by original owner. Comes with power sunroof, power driver's seat, power locks; Bose stereo, all the features original to this model. The car was driven regularly until recently and can still be driven, but it is no longer licensed for the road. Engine and transmission are still very smooth. 105,831 original miles, equivalent to 170,318 km. This is a Canadian model and mileage was displayed in km, until a few years ago when an Audi mechanic unintentionally changed it, and didn't know how to change it back to km. Some known problems with this car: The front sub-frame is rusty and must be replaced soon. The rear springs squeak. The ABS module needs replacing. There is a small rust spot on the right front fender, on the wheel lip. There is a very small crease on the body, just behind the left rear wheel. There may be other problems with this car, but I am not a mechanic; these is what I know about. There are no accidents, except for the crease mentioned above, the result of a minor scrape. Interior is still beautiful, in near-new condition. Exterior still looks very good except for the blemishes mentioned above. The paint is original and still shines. On 20-Jun-12 at 14:53:08 EDT, seller added the following information:UPDATE: I needed to move the car about 20 feet in my driveway. An oil leak occurred, perhaps from an oil line - I couldn't see where it came from - and the oil pressure dropped. The power steering also malfunctioned, and steering became rather heavy. I had previously forgotten to mention that the rear brakes also need replacing. Please note that the car is to be sold as-is and where-is, so you may need a trailer to pick it up. I am not a mechanic, but I have tried to describe this car and its problems as well as possible.
