Vehicle Detail
Here is my 1986 Porsche 944 turbo. When I bought this car my plan was to do some body work and have it repainted. The only reason I am selling this car is because I am to busy with work and I have other cars and just no time to mess with anything else. The car has been sitting in my garage taking up precious space for some time now and after a pile of wood fell on the drivers side door a week ago I finally decided it needs to go. You can see the wood damage in the picture. If I were to keep the car I would get it a paint job. It has dings mostly on the hood from hail. Everything works as it should. All gauges buttons and switches work great. The AC blows nice and cold and the heat gets hot. There is an aftermarket CD player in the car along with a nice speaker setup and it sound great. The interior on this car is wonderful and the leather is still great. The breaks, rims, rotors and tires are in nice shape. I do have the original floor mats I just took them out for the pictures. The suspension is excellent and the car drives very tight and smooth. The cars motor fires right up and sounds very nice and it runs great. The clutch is good and grabs as it should. The transmission shifts as it should and is still very nice and tight. The car does leak some oil and could probably use some new gaskets. Overall it’s a wonderful car and if the body were in mint condition would be easily worth $10,000. For someone who can do body/paint work themselves this is a great deal. I believe that everything on this car is in mint condition besides the exterior. The car has been well maintained and was always serviced. I had many detailed records from the original owner but I must have lost or misplaced them when I moved but will keep looking. This is a great solid reliable car and I would love to see it go to a good home. This is a timeless classic and will only grow more valuable with age. The car is being sold locally so I reserve the right to end the auction. I will also be open to offers. I am willing to help out with shipping. Please take the bidding seriously because I don’t want to list this car again. Thanks for looking.
