1970 Scout 800a with 304 V8 3 speed manual transmission I got this car to fix up for my son but don't have the time , I am sell two of my other cars also to try and get him something new . This Scout was parked for over 15 years due to a death of the previous owner the family final decided to sell it and I bought it , the title is in my name . Brother gave me a little history about the Scout that his brother had it painted 17 years ago and changed or rebuild the 304 and he had owned it since 1985 Last week I changed all the fluids spark plug wires drianed the gas tanks and put a electric pump and started up . The engine runs fine but the transmission synchronizers are out and the clutch is week the four wheel drive works fine all the gauges work but the gas and the speedometer, all the lights work hi/ low beam turn signals brakes. It does have some rust on the tail gate and little on the front floor pan but over all nice clean scout . The tires are dry and will have to be replaced .
