Rust free, this 1996 Toyota Avalon still has some miles left in it yet! Clean interior, but it shows its age. The exterior is rust free, but has some dents and scratches around. The car is drivable, we have put 100 miles on it this week, but it does need some work. The engine has a major noise in the timing belt area, and probably needs a belt right away. There is also a valve tick in the rear bank. The engine does not smoke and runs very well in spite of the mentioned issues. The transmission shifts perfectly. The steering is great, as well as the brakes. The struts are very weak, but you can still drive safely with them. The air conditioning works great! The power windows and locks, cruise and cd player all work. Power seats work also. The car will have a clear title, but please be aware that I do not currently have the title in hand. This was a trade in, and the owner lost the original title. I have applied for a replacement that will be in hand in a couple of weeks.
