Vehicle Detail

This is a rare opportunity to bid on a heavily optioned factory GT 4 speed coupe WITH the original window sticker and owner's manual. I also have the Marti Report and a folder with maintenance and repair records from the initial buyer, Mr. Leino of Santa Clara, CA who purchased the car new from Paul Swanson Ford in San Jose on August 10, 1967. He kept impeccable records. The car was sold to a purchaser in the Seattle area in 1977 where it stayed until 2004, when purchased by my friend in 2004, here in Vancouver, B.C..Fortunately, the subsequent owners (only a handful) also kept maintenance and repair records. The car has had a few minor accidents, and the photos show a respray on the hood and right fender. The remainder is the original paint. There is a dent on the left quarter near the tail light corner. There are a few spots of spray can cover up (wrong color green) on the driver's side. The interior driver's door panel need to be replaced. The driver's seat is cracked and has a duct tape repair. The car runs strong and is fun to drive. The body is solid. The drivetrain is original. At some point (looks to be circa 1980's) an Edelbrock intake and different carb was installed. The entire pedal assembly was recently rebuilt and the car shifts smoothly. I could have repainted the car and asked a lot more for this particular vehicle. I decided to let it go "as is" in its relatively unmolested state so the new owner can make the restoration decisions. It's ready for re-installation. The turn signals stopped working, but the emergency flasher still works, so there must be a minor short somewhere.
