Vehicle Detail

This Porsche was my first 928. I now have three 928's and my shop is overflowing. This car has been stored (in a dry insulated shop) for 14 years and I have not tried to start it. I assume the gas is bad. There was not much in the tank 14 years ago, but it should be flushed before attempting to start the car. The body has been repainted and the paint is fair to good quality. There are two blemishes: a small rust spot on the left rear window ledge and cracks in the paint on the nose (shown in the pictures.) The windshield has a circular defect near the bottom edge on the passenger side (see picture). The dash is cracked. I have a molded cover for the dash, but never installed it. The seats have been recovered. The driver's seat has a tear along the right side (see photo). The VIN was changed by the Oklahoma DPS for unknown reasons (see VIN photo). I don't know if the car was stolen or rebuilt. The current Texas title is clear and it is in my corporation's name. This car appears to be in original condition with no noticeable body work. It is of driver quality and essentially complete. I enjoyed driving this car so much that I bought two more. The engine was well used, but had no strange noises and ran smoothly. The odometer mileage is probably incorrect since I believe the odometer was not working. This car should be a very low priced entry into the Porsche V8 experience. On Jun-07-12 at 20:24:00 PDT, seller added the following information: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In response to Ebay input and with the help of some fellows who came by to look at the car, I took a look at the gas in the tank. It looked very good. We pumped out almost all of it, and put in fresh gas. The fuel pump did not come on when I turned on the key. I will check out the fuses over the next few days and see what's wrong. If I get it running, I will post that here.
