- Everything original other than Battery, Filters & Fluids (changed during required interval); relatively new Michelin Tires (~10K) MXV4. - Oil change every ~75K with Mobil 1 Extended; Dealer kept (Don Joseph Toyota while in Ohio & Christian Brothers in Lewisville kept while in Texas); all tire related work performed by White Wheel Alignment in Cleveland, OH (best underbody tune-shop in Ohio). - Engine air filter & cabin filter change every oil change - Garage kept not used as a commuter vehicle (therefore no rust) - Low Miles (only driven ~4 months out of the year); parents’ car mainly sits in the garage since they spend ¾ of their time outside the country. One owner!!! I baught the car & gave it to my folks. - Klasse twice a year for paint plus 303 protectant preserved all seals (including seals around moonroof) – vehicle in LIKE NEW spotless condition. Headlights clear (sign of never been in the sun for extended amt of time). Extra features worth mentioning for a car from 2005: - Power driver & passenger seat; power lumbar for driver - Rear sunshade - Heated Outside Mirror - Compass + Homelink + trip computer - Side Curtain Airbags So what’s the catch? This easy to drive vehicle is in such mint condition then why am I selling it & listing it about $4000 $4500 $5000 $5500 below fair value (Listing Price Reduced Wed the 30th, now break-even price with damage factored in; Listing Price Reduced again Thur the 31st, now $500 below break-even with damage factored in per body shop estimate. List Price Reduced one last time on 6/2, now $1000 below break-even. Note fair value is $~16000.00 per Kelley’s Bluebook Value & all 3 cars sold on Ebay previously were sold above Bluebook Value - owners were all suprised at how good the vehicles were kept). That’s because I carelessly left it outside one day & it got hit by golf ball size hail (briefly for about 2 mins) before I could bring it inside. The hail was small enough that no damage was done to any glass panel including moonroof and dings were small and shallow (therefore I took the pictures to indicate orig. glass intact; no breach in orig. seal to the vehicle). I captured the biggest ding in the picture on the left side of the roof above the driver's side (prob by one rouge large hail). One mile east of us lots of cars were totaled but our house and cars escaped (with no leaves on the front yard). But there are visible damage on the panels facing the sky (~10 dings per front/rear & top), including a few dings on the side trims (see picture). The dings are difficult to capture because the vehicle’s color is Black & they appear only if you look at it close & at a certain angle, but there is enough ding to warrant dent-less repairs. My folks said too much trouble & JUST SELL IT! Please refer to my selling’s rating, the rating includes 3 vehicles I’ve sold on Ebay Motors over the last 10 yrs with no contact with the customer. This car is a little different due to hail damage, you can contact me & arrange for a viewing of the vehicle in person before making a bid. Great investment if you intent to drive this car until it dies in 2099 or fix it cheap & make a profit. Per request, someone asked about Insurance Claim & Title: Note I've already filed insurance claim with Amica & rec'd a check matches the amount from Body Shop(s') estimates, minus my deductables. The Adjuster Report indicate the following - Point of Impact: 27 Hail; Vehicle Condition: Good. There were no discussion of Title when I spoke with the adjuster or the Insurance Company contact...to be perfectly honest I didn't even bother to visit bodyshop/contact my insurance company until it was about a month later...because I knew my deductable is high & too me, the superficial damage is really not a big deal (see pictures, if you see big holes, I won't have to circle the dents to show it. The adjustor even told me to let my car sit in the TX summer heat because with a black car... most of dents will pop back up since they are so shallow - pulling my leg? I googled & it appears to be true to certain extent). My 1st hail damage experience, I guess labor is more expense than what I thought & everyone is out to make buck.
