Up for sale is a one owner 1974 Olds Ninety-Eight and I've set an extremely low reserve! This Olds was purchased new in Memphis,TN on Feb 19th, 1975 and obtained by this dealership on Sept. 27th, 1988. (We were an Oldsmobile/Cadillac dealship and the owner of the dealership kept it) We have an odometer statement signed by the original owner showing 45,592 miles in 1988, we have only put on 305 miles since then, the actual miles are 45,897 at this time. This car is truly amazing, it starts, runs, transmission goes into gear immediatly, power windows, locks, antenna all work and brakes felt good. Name plates are all there, chrome is in good shape along with lights, glass, etc. What I found that needs attention is that the exhaust is bad, the fan blower doesn't work, the A/C compressor turns but slow and I'm sure the tires shouldn't be trusted. (age) The car has been painted at some point and is not show quality, the metal all seems to be good though and the only rust I've seen in light and is surface rust, the vinyl roof has some cracks.
