I was finally able to talk my wife into a Miata with an automatic transmission so we are parting with our 1992 that we have owned for 10 years. It's a little like selling a member of the family after all these years. The paint after 20 years was beginning to fade so last year we sent it out for a complete new paint job done by the paint man at the local GM dealership for the past 25 years. The car has only been drive on good summer days as my wife loves the top down so if it rained, she would drive another car. The timing belt and 60K service was done at 58k because of the age of the car. My brother is a mechanic that loves this car so anything that ever needed to be done, was done before we even knew it was necessary. The tires have less than 5k miles, we just had the soft top reconditioned including the back window. A few years back we replaced both the master and slave cylinder's. The car needs nothing that I am aware of however it is being sold as is and where is because it is a 20 year old car. I would jump in the car tomorrow and drive across the country. I encourage anyone looking for an old style Miata to give this one serious consideration.
