To see a short video on how this vehicle runs and sounds go to the following movie and enjoy: We are offering this nice: TWO OWNER-1997 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA GT!-5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION! This VW looks good and runs great, and it is a blast to drive! This is the GT model and I am assuming by the great way it handles, that it has an upgraded suspension. It drives way better then other non GT Jetta's I have driven. It does not have a lot of fancy equipment, but it sure has what you need including power steering, brakes, aftermarket AM-FM stereo CD player, rear window defogger, adjustable wheel, delay wipers, ICY COLD air conditioning and much more! This Jetta comes with the gas sipping ultra reliable 2.0 Litre 4 cylinder engine that starts right up, and purrs like a kitten! There are no check engine or warning lights on. It is mated to a smooth 5 speed manual transmission, the clutch is great. The only issue is that when the car is in reverse the gear box is a little noisy, I asked a new car technician about it, and he told me that it is starting to wear in the reverse gear, but it will not fail catastrophically, it will just wear out over time, and you may get over 50K miles on it before you need to worry. The only reason I am mentioning it is because I believe in full disclosure of everything I know about the cars I sell! With this combination of engine and transmission you will get FANTASTIC gas mileage! The brakes stop the car quickly, safely and in a straight line, but again in the spirit of full disclosure, I have to mention that there is a slight noise coming from the rear brakes that indicate a possibility that it may need some pads/shoes. The blue exterior paint is clean and shiny with very few nicks, dings or scratches and no rust. It is missing some of the body side moldings, but with the rear spoiler and nice wheels it looks really good. The multi color GT cloth interior is in great shape, especially considering the age and mileage, and has remarkably little wear and tear, and the seats are very comfortable! The tires are in great shape, the fronts have around 85-90% tread left and the rears are about 70-75% tread left, so you will have many miles of safe driving before you will have to replace them! They are mounted on the nice VW factory alloy wheels. All this great stuff will be yours at a very low price! Some of our vehicles may be for sale locally, and we reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason. Many of the vehicles are also driven, so they may have a few more miles than is listed or shown in the pictures, but not too many, certainly not enough to affect the value of the vehicles. We have tried to be as honest and descriptive as possible but we are not perfect, we occasionally will make a mistake or miss something . Please remember you are buying a wholesale vehicle and paying a wholesale price, not retail, so keep that in mind when looking at this vehicle, it is not a NEW car. Please read our feedback. I try to meet every one of my customers, and try to make it as convenient as possible, but if I can not be there I will make every effort to have someone there who can help you, but you MUST call first for an appointment. Please do not ask what the reserve is, because we will not discuss it. A non refundable $500.00 deposit is required via PayPal as soon as you win the auction and absolutely within 24 Hours of the auction ending, unless other arrangements have been made. We only accept PayPal for the initial deposit, the balance due must be paid in CASH or by ELECTRONIC WIRE TRANSFER. Despite what anything else may say we do NOT accept cashiers' checks, money orders, or any other type of so called "Certified" funds. If you absolutely must pay by PayPal there is a 5% inconvenience fee, and you need to talk to us prior to doing this. Contact us for information on this. If you do not contact us to make arrangements within 24 hours, we will sell it to the next bidder and issue an unpaid strike and negative feedback. The balance and pick up of the vehicle is due within 7 days of the auction ending, unless other arrangements have been made. Failure to pick the vehicle up within the allotted time will incur a storage fee of $25.00 per day or if you don't pickup the vehicle within the allotted time you will lose your deposit and we may or may not relist the vehicle. we do not get involved in shipping, that is on you. There is a $99 documentation fee, and if you live in NJ we are required to collect the appropriate sales tax. If you have a driver's license and insurance, we can even give you a temporary tag for $25.00 so you can drive it home. That's it. Nothing hidden. We are offering this nice: TWO OWNER-1997 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA GT!-5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION! This VW looks good and runs great, and it is a blast to drive! This is the GT model and I am assuming by the great way it handles, that it has an upgraded suspension. It drives way better then other non GT Jetta's I have driven. It does not have a lot of fancy equipment, but it sure has what you need including power steering, brakes, aftermarket AM-FM stereo CD player, rear window defogger, adjustable wheel, delay wipers, ICY COLD air conditioning and much more! This Jetta comes with the gas sipping ultra reliable 2.0 Litre 4 cylinder engine that starts right up, and purrs like a kitten! There are no check engine or warning lights on. It is mated to a smooth 5 speed manual transmission, the clutch is great. The only issue is that when the car is in reverse the gear box is a little noisy, I asked a new car technician about it, and he told me that it is starting to wear in the reverse gear, but it will not fail catastrophically, it will just wear out over time, and you may get over 50K miles on it before you need to worry. The only reason I am mentioning it is because I believe in full disclosure of everything I know about the cars I sell! With this combination of engine and transmission you will get FANTASTIC gas mileage! The brakes stop the car quickly, safely and in a straight line, but again in the spirit of full disclosure, I have to mention that there is a slight noise coming from the rear brakes that indicate a possibility that it may need some pads/shoes. The blue exterior paint is clean and shiny with very few nicks, dings or scratches and no rust. It is missing some of the body side moldings, but with the rear spoiler and nice wheels it looks really good. The multi color GT cloth interior is in great shape, especially considering the age and mileage, and has remarkably little wear and tear, and the seats are very comfortable! The tires are in great shape, the fronts have around 85-90% tread left and the rears are about 70-75% tread left, so you will have many miles of safe driving before you will have to replace them! They are mounted on the nice VW factory alloy wheels. All this great stuff will be yours at a very low price!

Some of our vehicles may be for sale locally, and we reserve the right to end the auction early for any reason. Many of the vehicles are also driven, so they may have a few more miles than is listed or shown in the pictures, but not too many, certainly not enough to affect the value of the vehicles.

We have tried to be as honest and descriptive as possible but we are not perfect, we occasionally will make a mistake or miss something . A non refundable $500.00 deposit is required via PayPal as soon as you win the auction and absolutely within 24 Hours of the auction ending, unless other arrangements have been made. We only accept PayPal for the initial deposit, the balance due must be paid in CASH or by ELECTRONIC WIRE TRANSFER. Despite what anything else may say we do NOT accept cashiers' checks, money orders, or any other type of so called "Certified" funds. If you absolutely must pay by PayPal there is a 5% inconvenience fee, and you need to talk to us prior to doing this. Contact us for information on this. If you do not contact us to make arrangements within 24 hours, we will sell it to the next bidder and issue an unpaid strike and negative feedback.
