This former show car started its life as an automatic and was converted to manual. I purchased the car to return it to its former glory and is 90% complete. Floor pans front and rear have been replaced. Engine have been replaced with a low mileage wreck that had 70,000 miles. I put less than 10000 since owning the car and rounded off to 80,000. Many new parts on vehicle from the suspension up, It took me a year to find a dash without any cracks and yes it cost me a pretty penny. The only thing I did not replace as yet were some suspension bushings. It has Scantec lowering springs, bilstein shocks, airlift in rear springs, new vacuum hoses, upper/lower heater hoses, radiator hose, ball joints, tie rod ends,front bearings, new ignition coil, spark plugs, cap and rotor, new calipers/rotors front and rear, new pads. Wheels are in very good condition but tires need to be replaced. The original hood was replace because the hinge was starting to separate from the support and would need to be welded. I took the other route on this but it is still available if you are up for the task. I also have a set of cream/grey leather sets I had made for the car and removed them because they get dirty quickly. if you prefer theses seats I can replace them. I drive this car at least once a week to keep things lubricated. As you see much money has been spent on this car and basically it can take you anywhere right now. The only thing left to do on this car is knock out the rust spot on the front fenders and around the edge of the window and have the car repainted. Mechanically the car is running great! Spent over $1000. alone on brake system. I am starting the bid at $1500 with no reserve. If you are not serious about this car please do not bid! If you are not sure about this car after placing a bid, I have no problems cancelling your bid but not on the last day of the auction. I require a $300 non refundable deposit from the winning bidder within 24 hrs to weed out the tire kickers and balance due when you come to pick up the vehicle. Please note that I am not desperate to sell the vehicle and already have it appraised for paint and body work if not sold. I have my eye on another project and cannot drive three vehicles. Headlights are H4 (glass) not plastic. 2. Battery move to the trunk. My intentions were to upgrade the exhaust to 3'' which would require more space and not interfere with the battery. 3. The car has a boot cover painted in black, you can respray any color you like. This was purchase after the car so not original to vehicle. 4. Installed new slave cylinder, will need to bleed to have correct pressure although it is drivable as is. My attention to detail. 5. Anti lok light stays on. Does not affect brake system. My mechanic Don at "1 stop Saab" in Columbus, says it may be the diodes needing replacement. I have a set uninstalled. Again 2 months ago all calipers and rotors have been replaced, they are brand new! 6. The coolant needs to be flushed, Its about that time, I did not get around to this as yet. 7. Did not have car aligned as yet when suspension parts have been replaced. so steering wheel is a bit off center but hold straight when you let go of the wheel. 8. Radio in the car is acting funky (Jensen) it has flip screen DVD, Navigation ect.. the HD converter is not powering up but you can subscribe for SAT radio and use that. I will include a Blaupunkt radio with CD player you can install. I have install brand new Boston Acoustic Speakers or was it Blau. Cant remember which set it was but they are brand new front and rear. These are just minor things that have to be done and my time is very limited working long hours, going to school and keeping up with my toddler.
