Hi, up for sale is my 1994 Ford F150 Lightning. If you are looking at this truck, there is no doubt that you already know the specifics of this model, but I will describe this truck in detail to the best of my abilities. Let me first say that I am the second owner of this truck, and have owned it for 8 years. This is the fifth lightning I have owned, and this one has been my favorite. I purchased the truck in Michigan from a former engineer that worked for Ford. The truck is 100% mechanically sound and has no problems, and is a 10 out of a 10. The interior is also immaculate, and a 10 out of a 10. The body of the truck is laser straight, no dents or dings. Keep in mind this is an 18 year old truck. The only known issues with the body are normal wear from age and use, and the truck still looks fresh and brand new. I get compliments everywhere I go, and no one can believe the age. That being said, the body is a 9 out of 10, there are a couple of small isssues, and I am very picky. There is a small amount of rust on the underside of the hood in the pinch weld, not an issue, an easy fix. Also there are a couple blemishes on the flat of the back fenderwells. You cannot see them unless you are looking for them, I was told was a very easy and minimal fix, and my camera wouldnt even pick them up. Even with these slight issues, this truck still qualifies as a collector which looks and performs better than most new trucks. I now will try to inform you of the specfics on this truck. The truck as stated is a 1994 Ford svt lightning. It has the oxford white exterior, and gray interior. The truck is equipped with the 351 H.O.windsor v8, and Ford GT40 race car heads,which delivers 240 hp, and 340 lbs torque.The drive train is backed up by a rear end which features 4.10 gears. This truck has 155000 miles, but dont let that scare you. This was my daily driver for 6 years, and most of the miles are highway. The engine is still stong as the first day I got it, and it uses no oil, no leaks of any kind.The truck has all the power options you would expect- power windows, power locks, keyless entry, ice cold air, tilt , cruise, drivers airbag, power seats with lumbar support, sliding window,alarm, and the rare Ford JBL cd player system, which was only installed in a handfull of lightnings, and was an extra to the tune of $373.00. The only options the truck are missing that was available, is the center seat, and the rear tube bumper, which always rusts out. The truck also comes with the options of the original stainless steel exhaust, ford bed liner, ford bedmat, and a tonneau whick I installed when I bought the truck. Since I have owned the truck I have performed all maintenence on it ritually. I have always changed the oil every 2,000 miles with Mororcraft synthetic, and the truck has always had mothers wax every month, with a wash twice a week. You would be hard pressed to find a lightning in this nice of shape unless it was packed in a bubble. Additional maintence included over my ownership is as follows- new pads and rotors, new plugs and wires, new fuel injectors, new upper and lower intake gaskets, new radius arm bushings, upper lower ball joints with alignment, new shocks, throttle body deep clean, etc. At 139,000 the transmission was totally rebuilt, and beefed up. At that time I had the rear end gears and fluid serviced, and I also had all the u joints replaced, as well as a rebalanced drive shaft. I believe in prevenative maintenence, not maintenence because of problems.This truck is 100% original, and has never been raced or abused. The tires are like new with around 85% tread, not to mention all four rims and center caps are like new and original. This is the first time I have offered this truck for sale, and probably the last. I am not interested in trades, for sale only. My starting bid is around what the book value states for the truck. I am not looking to rip off anyone, or get rich, I would just like what the truck is worth, and hopefully give it a new home with someone who appreciates it as much as I do. Included with the sale are two sets of keys with key fobs, all original books, the original window sticker, and the svt certificate.
