1993 M/B 300 SD Turbo/Diesel The W140 is known for its rock solid ride and comfort, this is a true example of engineering at its best. I have personally owned this car for about 3 years.Its my personal driver so the mileage may increase slightly before sale ends. This is a 19 year old car that was well taken care of from day one, but it has some minor wear and tear for its age. The paint looks great from 10 feet but a close up shows some door dings and some areas of bird droppings on the hood,roof and trunk. It has some rock chips on the nose and hood.I have not found any peeling of the clearcoat on the car.The front lower valance has some scratches and a small crack (see pictures). The glass is good all around the car, one small chip in the w/s on the right side out of drivers view and it was repaired by Glass Doctor. The side windows are the original OEM double pane windows. The interior is just about as close to new as you can get, no rips or tears. The dash is crack free. The only cracks are on the shifter housing by the window switches and they are to small for the camera to pick up. The engine starts quickly and with just a touch of smoke till it warms up. Idles smooth and accelerates with out hesitation. All fluids and filters were just changed. 2 new trans cooler hoses, new belt, battery, glow plugs, glow plug harness and main engine wiring harness have been done whille I owned the car. Trans serviced. The radio was replaced with a new Alpine radio along with a new OEM amp. The radio plays Ipod,MP3,CD, Satellite and AM/FM stereo, the FM is weak and needs a new antenna. The old antenna works up and down fine but doesn't get real good reception. The rest of the audio plays great and you have to hear the quality of this setup. I have the original radio and is included with sale. I also have the original OEM rims and tires at additional cost if desired. The trunk is huge on this car and will fit 4 golf bags no problem. The central locking system works as it should, the rear back up indicators go up and down as they should. I have 1 remote key and 2 other standard keys for the car.
