This 911 was sold new at Blue Ridge Porsche Audi in Kansas City, Missouri on June 22, 1982. The mechanicals are excellent with a strong motor, good clutch and good syncros in all gears. Engine # 64C3596. This is a very original SC. It still retains its original Sigla windshield, and has its date coded seat belts and dated coded spare wheel. The paint is in very nice condition. The color is consistent over the entire car. The doors and rear section have been resprayed. The interior is un-restored, with original carpets, original radio and a crack free dash. The Targa top has been redone and looks great. Recent service includes rebuilt front brake calipers in April 2011. Also in 2011, major service completed and all head studs replaced, new head gasket, chain tensioner update and pop off valve update. The car has matching Pirelli P 700 tires all around. There are some minor rock nicks on the front hood, outside mirrors and lower valence from normal use. Also, a small scratch on the left rear 1/4 panel and under the wiper arm. This 911 changed hands in 1987 with 32,803 miles and most recently sold in 2009 with 38,320 miles. Full documentation from new, tools, original books, extra keys and jack will be presented to the new owner. A wonderful opportunity to own such a low mileage 911 SC Targa! California smogged.
