For sale is a 2001 BMW 740IL.This car was my Dads car until he passed away in 2007. We really do not have a need for this vehicle anymore so we decided to sell it. As you may see by the photos, the car is in very good shape. The title is a "salvage" title but my Dad never did indicate as to why, so I am unsure on this one. The car runs and performs very good, also an updated Pioneer deck was added because the factory one did not work well at all. There are 2 items that I will say need attention on this car: 1. If you do not drive it for over 3-4 days, the battery dies, Im not sure if there is a light left on someplace that tends to drain the battery or what.If you drive it daily, she starts right up without a problem. 2. The temp gauge rides in the middle as it should, but then once in awhile it will quickly go to the red and then back to the middle. The car drives just fine and really gives no indication that it runs hot at all, sounds like a gauge problem but I do noot know. Other than those 2 items, the car really does drive out excellent. I have had the car for 5 years but really never drove it to see its potential.We will try to answer any questions that you may have on it if we know the answer.
