Condition: Well cared for 2000 GMC 1500 4x4 SLE Body and Paint: Very good for year. Paint is very good and holds excellent shine, chrome is shiny. There are some minor dings and scrapes which is normal for age and mileage. Driver side rocker panel and cab corner was rust repaired and professionally painted. The passenger side door and rocker shows some rust (see photo). Includes tonneau cover and bed liner. Engine, transmission, driveline: Excellent, no known problems. Starts and runs well. Very powerful 5.3 L Vortec V8. 14mpg city and 18mpg highway. Transmission shifts perfectly and no driveline issues. Transmission fluid and rear differential fluid were replaced at 108,000 miles. 4wd works flawlessly. Electrical: Fuel guage sometimes does not always read correctly. I'd say 75% of the time it is working fine. I usually just reset trip meter when refueling to guage mileage stops. Most likely a bad sender. Otherwise there are no known electrical issues. Steering and suspension: 100%. Intermediate steering shaft was recently replaced. No creaks. needs nothing. Brakes: Recent front and rear brakes... 4 wheel disk brakes. No pull or pulsating. Brakes function very well. ABS module is not functioning which gives ABS light on dash. It has been diagnosed that both the module and pump are bad, but it may just be the abs module. Module will have to be removed and sent for repair for about $150 (see Modulemaster.com or absfixer.com). This alone may fix the problem, but if a pump is needed the part can be had at gmpartsdirect for $150. Tires and wheels: New tires..see photo for tread depth. Wheels are in good shape for year however one hub cover is missing. Interior: In great condition. Includes tow package.
