The story: Even though I am a car dealer I've had this landscape truck since 2003. I purchased this truck with around 90k miles. I retired from the landscape business around 2008 and my brother used it some after that. We have little use for the truck these days and now have decided to sell it. There is nothing major the truck needs, but it does need various cosmetic and light mechanical work throughout. You are looking at 1995 Isuzu NPR with a 14fott Supreme box with a dovetail ramp. It is powered by a 3.9L Diesel engine and automatic transmission. It is equipped with the bare minimum options: tilt, a/c (not working), and CD player. Also included are the owners manuals and one key. The interior of this truck is worn. The seats are torn and need recovering. The door panels are loose. The passenger crank window handle is missing. The shift knob is broke off, (still slides into gear, but not as easy if it was there correctly). The windshield wipers and brake lights do not work. There may be a plastic piece missing or broke here and there. The radio does work. The exterior of this NPR is in good shape for age and use. The windshield is new. The box does need some TLC . The rear door does not close correctly and will need attention, also the aluminum strips on the side are loose. The roof vents also need replacing. Mechanically, this NPR does start up and run good. The transmission shifts through all gears. However, it makes a strange shift when slowing down, (it has been this way since we got it and never felt a need to fix it). I put an a/c belt on it when it was new, but it threw it, (assume a/c needs compressor). 4 of the 6 tires are good. The two rear passenger tires need replacing. There are also some dash lights on. Also, the alternator may have a light draw, (not really sure, have not personally drove truck in years). Overall Opinion: If you are looking for a great deal on a landscape truck with good miles here you go. Expect to do some cosmetic and light mechanical work. Would I drive this truck somewhere?You are probably safe to drive it somewhere. There is nothing obvious that would stop it from driving somewhere. However, I will give no guarantee.
