This is a very clean 1987 Volvo 240 GL sedan. It runs and drives 110%. No drivetrain issues. These Volvo 240 models have been known to almost run forever. This quality pre-owned vehicle is being sold with no reserve. The 2.4L four cylinder engine purrs along without a miss or smoke. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation. The steering, brakes and suspension are in good condition. No exhaust leaks. No "check engine" lights. The engine has a sticker from Volvo indicating the timing belt was changed but we can't read the date or miles (see pic). The exterior is in very good condition for the age. The exterior is a glossy burgundy with no major dents or dings. The only issue is a small ding on the right rear door (see pic). The lights and lenses are bright and clear. It's obvious they are not original. The right tail light has a small crack. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, are almost new (see pic). The windshield has a small stone chip that is not in the driver line of sight. The interior is tan. No rips or holes in the carpet. There are the moulded Volvo floor mats in the trunk (see pic). The seats are leather. The front seats are heated. The seats are clean with no stains but the driver seat has the typical corner wear area (see pic). The factory radio was replaced with an Alpine CD/radio with upgraded speakers. No sun cracks on the dash. It has power windows and locks. The driver door pocket is broken (see pic). The sunroof doesn't open. The AC doesn't work. Might need a charge. This is a reliable Volvo 240 that does not have any current mechanical problems and has no indication of any forseeable problems. The Volvo is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer. We require, on ALL internet sales, a $200 internet fee which covers document, clerical, airport transportation and all other auction related expenses.
