This is a 1983 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel. Many of this vehicles lend themselves to bio fuel conversions. This new car trade is being sold with no reserve. The 3.0L five cylinder turbo diesel engine purrs along without a problem. They are known to almost run forever. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The steering, brakes and suspension seem good. The exterior is probably above average clean for the age and miles. No major dings, dents or rust. The paint is a glossy blue. The lights and lenses are bright but the right front turn signal light is broken. The tires, on factory wheels, have about 50% tread left. The most noticeable ding is a scrape over the right rear tire (see pic). The windshield has 2 small chips. The interior is basic MB Tex tan. The seats are not perfect as seen in the pictures. The rear seat back rest is torn (see pic). The power windows and side mirrors work. The sunroof, AC, power locks and cruise do not work. Don't know why. There is an after market Kenwood CD/radio with remote and MP3 compatible. The carpets have no holes or rips. This car is mechanically sound but if you want a perfect interior keep looking. This pre-owned vehicle is being sold by a Maryland Used Car Dealer. We require, on ALL internet sales, a $200 internet fee which covers document, clerical, airport transportation and all other auction related expenses.
