Vehicle Detail

1972 Ford 4 X 4 1/2 ton It runs good and will always start even after sitting for quite a while(manual choke) , it is however an used older truckand needs some work to make it a dependable again. Here is what I have put into the truck it had two motors in pieces in the back of the bed and cost me $500.00 just to purchase. I have since put about almost $7,000 over the years believe it or not. Rebuilt 390 cid -not a factory item it came with a 360 originally. A 1967 Mercury Motor and 1961 ford HeadsFolks this is NOT a normal rebuild I had this motor built some years ago and it originally cost about $3500.00 just for the motor rebuild High quality machine work that cost me $600.00 aloneHigh quality piston and bearing kitARP rod bolts ( I had to have the rods machined to fit the ARP bolts, an extra $80.00) - 170,000 psi tensile strengthARP bolts were I could put them ie. manifolds alternator etc.Edelbrock Carburetor with a off-road needle kitEdelbrock Chrome Air CleanerEdelbrock Chrome Valve CoversAccel High Voltage CoilHigh Temp Paint on the exhaust manifolds Dual Exhaust Manual Transmission from a 1979 3/4 ton truck, syncros are a little off but in order to use the tranfer case I needed it.The original transmission will come with the truck if you want it. NP 205 Transfer Case - Bullet Proof transfer case from a 1979 3/4 ton Ford truck (about $650.00 to replace it, not cheap)High and Low range 4wd plus high range 2wd ( the original transfer was only high range 2wd and 4wd) 2 1/2 " Rancho Front Lift to even out the factory overload rear leaf springs( $800.00 just for parts not including labor) Burgundy Cloth Seat out of a newer Ford Truck Front bearings and parts have all been replaced over the yearsIncluding New C-Bushings on the Front Sun-pro water temperature and oil pressure gauges Good Newer Battery Things that you probably will need:Some paint and body work I painted this truck years ago but is has since faded and tere is some rust in theusual places Cab Corner(RH) and bottom back of fenders The windshield is cracked on the passenger side at the top, but it has always been that way( it doesn't interfere with the driver's view) Right side exhaust gasket needs replaced I have worked on the front extensively but it will need some work on the steering(somebody put in a power steering unit years ago All of the tires hold air but aren't matching brands and probably only two of them could still be used reliably. If nothing else they willmake good spares. They are all however 31" X 10.50" with a 15" diameter Folks this truck has gotten me in places you wouldn't believe over the years and has been a reliable transportation vehiclewith a little bit of work I'm sure it could be the same for you. Please contact me if you are seriously interested and have any questions. On May-04-12 at 12:43:36 PDT, seller added the following information:Hi Folks I just wanted to say that I re-listed this truck because there were 50 watchers last time. But this is your last chance to buy it this calender year(I'm out of listings) so good luck bidding and thanks for looking
