I am posting this 1965 Mustang Fastback for my good friend that is not able to post the car himself. This car has ben owned by the same person since 1975. The car has been sitting now for eight years in a partial restoration-in-the-making-state and is currently as pictured. This is a Code K car that had originally a 289 Hi-Po engine with a four speed, these are long gone. Body: The car has had all new floor pans installed and the body is currently corrosion and rust free as it sits. A nine inch rear end has been installed and the front suspension has been rebuilt with the original disc brake setup installed. The under carriage is in black paint and also has the fuel tank reinstalled. The hood and doors and trunk are in primer while the front fenders have been bare steel for some time and have developed some surface rust. A set of original steel wheels come with the car. Engine: The engine for the car is not original to the car, but, it is a 289 two barrel motor along with a C4 Automatic Transmission. The interior is complete and is a medium tan pony interior of which I will try to get pictures of soon. I am told that the car is all there, but in pieces and it will be the responsibility of the buyer to verify what parts are included. Please do your research and ask questions. The engine well aprons have been replaced and the original stampings on the drivers side have not been welded in place. Check new pictures for pictures of the stampings. The stampings on the passengers side are not there due to a replacement apron put on years ago so there is no stamping at all on the passengers side. This must of happened before 1975. There is no data plate on driver's door. Owner claims that the car was originally Ivy Green with tan interior of which I should have pictures posted of by Saturday. Thanks for the Buy-it -Now requested but the car is going the full auction term. Car has original wiring (don't know how complete), has all glass except for back window, still working on finding the clutch pedal assembly, all dash gauges and exterior trim all is used condition.
