This is a beautifully refurbished example of a FACTORY Highland Green with Factory Deluxe Interior. 1968 Mustang Coupe in remarkable condition. It runs and drives like a dream. The Mustang looks great, and the attention it gets is extreme! No Disappointments: This Coupe is a great investment and a fun car to drive and enjoy. From the engine compartment to the trunk and everywhere in between, this is a clean car. Please keep in mind that this is a classic car that is over 42 years old, and although I will describe everything as best I can, some small items may have been overlooked. It’s also rock solid, with very little evidence of rust. There is a rust bubble about the size of a quarter on the lower driver door (see picture). The underside is also solid, with great frame rails, perfect torque boxes and original floor pans. The panels on this car are show great fit and are very straight with the exception of a few minor dings. All of the body panels appear to be original and accident free. The underside is in excellent condition, and I could not detect any rust at all. The doors, trunk and hood all open and shut properly, and all of the glass is good. INTERIOR: The interior is professionally restored with all new soft trim including: · NEW TMI Deluxe Upholstery · NEW Dash Pad · NEW Kick Panels · NEW Carpeting · NEW Day / Nite Mirror · NEW Door Sill Plates · NEW Vent Window Chrome · NEW Headliner · NEW Deluxe Door Trim The interior also sports a working air conditioning and matching consoles, every dash component is working (except the clock). All interior lights work, as they should. Even the hood turn signals work on this beautiful Mustang ENGINE / MECHANICS: · The 200 C.I. Six Cylinder Engine is remarkably strong and reliable. There are no oil or fluid leaks. This Mustang tracks straight even cruising on freeway at 80 MPH. An Air conditioning unit was added and blows ICE COLD! A new heavy duty radiator and electric fans were added to make sure that this Mustang will never overheat even on the hottest summer day while driving in rush hour traffic with the A/C on! The power steering and new suspension gives the cream puff the feel of a Cadillac. The Mustang has very good road manners and is a pleasure to drive on the freeway or around town. The Carb is a Progressive Webber Two Barrel that gives more power and better economy (approx. 25 MPG). The Header Pipe and new Dual Exhaust with Turbo Mufflers makes this Stang sound like a V8. The car and original engine has approximately 114,217 original miles. The car starts at the flick of the key and runs strong and smooth. The car tracks straight and brakes straight, has good steering response and a nice ride. The Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission shifts very responsive and smooth. Power steering makes around town driving easy. The engine compartment is very clean, highly detailed and maintains its original appearance right down to the cadmium-plated bolts. Front drum brakes and rear drum brakes. The suspension and is comfortably firm and responsive to the touch. The exhaust and tires are new. The car runs and drive like new. Fly in and drive home this mechanically sound automobile. TRUNK: The trunk area is very clean, detailed, and looks like new. There is not even a hint of rust. An original jack and lug wrench are present. Of course, all bolts are cadmium plated. No issues here, the pictures of the car speak for themselves. OVERALL: The car of course gets lots of looks, it's really what I'd call the perfect drivers car that will not lose value in the coming years. This Mustang is heavily optioned, mechanically needs nothing, and runs fantastic. I have included the pictures of the small dings and such.
