The guy I bought it from owned it for four years and was still paying it off when I bought it. I don't know how many owners in all, but this car has been cherished and nothing spared. As far as I am concerned a car can have one horrible owner with a very neglected car, or lots of good owners who love and take car of the car. A one owner car does not mean the car was taken car of by any means. it is originally from Los Angeles California and is now in San Rafeal Ca. When I first got the car I took it to my mechanic to have the carburetors adjusted and he was very impressed with this car he has one too the same year. Everything works brake lights headlights, blinkers, windshield wipers heater fan and Horn! If you are not familiar with the earlier mgb's they are considerably faster than the later models as are the Triumph tr6's, they have higher compression and less smog. I have had 4 tr6's and I am telling you this car is faster than the last 74 tr6 I had and that was a nice car with very low miles and a really good powerful engine. These early models are the most sought after and hard to find in this condition, chrome spoked wheels, overdrive, etc. And it's a California car! The overdrive transmission is a must have, a 4 speed car will be running at a high rev all day making driving stressful. RELAX and put it in overdrive. This is much less stressful on the engine and gas as well. this car will easily cruse at 70 and just touch the gas pedal and it's got a lot more to go you can keep up with anything on the freeway it's pretty amazing. If your looking for something that runs great and gets a ton of attention this is it. You should hear this car run, It really has that classic sports car sound. it's kinda loud but not too, people hear it coming and are looking to see what it is! Sounds even better than a tr6, and goes just as good or better! This is a clean machine with the hood up or down and it's so much fun to drive. I have had 4 mgb's all together and this one is by far the fastest, most comfortable, and gets the most attention! The seats have been redone with new padding and vinyl and they really look and feel great. Floor boards are in excellent rust free condition. And it doesn't have to be smogged, hate to sell but I need some land!
