1970 Mach 1 Mustang Body: This car has been well used. The fenders are fairly straight with very little rust. The doors have some rust at the bottoms behind the body cladding. They could be repaired but its probably cheaper to replace. Both of the quarter panels have rust behind the tires, various dents and dings. I personally would replace both. There are some holes in the floor pans, not a complete loss but to do a really nice job, I would replace them. The frame rails and aprons, door jambs and trunk trough are very solid. There are some dents and dings on the roof but does not appear to need replacing. The trunk lid is probably the nicest panel on the car. It appears to have the factory rear window louver with all the hardware. The hood is mediocre at best. Interior: The original green interior and cores are all there - seats, console, factory steering wheel, 8-track radio. The dash is not cut up. However, it is all in serious need of a re-do. Mechanical: 351 Cleveland 2V, looks to be the original engine, 4V intake included. The motor turns over with the key but has not run in years. The front disk brakes, floor-shifted floor transmission and rear-end are worn out but all intact. The only missing piece appears to be the air cleaner base. This car has been well used, would be a major project but it is a complete 1970 Cleveland powered Mach 1 Mustang!
