This 3 Owner 33,000 Original Mile 1960 Mercedes Benz 190SL is truly a rare and unique find. This roadster spent most of its life in the warm, dry climate of Texas. An older refinish of its solid original body still looks showroom new. The classic color combination of a Bright White Exterior over Black Leather Interior is accented by either its Black Canvas Convertible Top or White Removable Hard Top. A Brand New Leather Convertible Top Cover is also included. The original undercarrige is solid and corrosion free. The nicely detailed engine compartment features the original fully serviced 1.9 Liter Straight 4 Cylinder with recently rebuilt and syncronized twin choke dual Solex Carbs. The rest of the car has been completely sorted out as well. The 4 Speed Manual Transmission shifts effortlessly and the double wishbone suspension upfront with swing axles out back take you down the street firmly but comfortably. The Black Leather Interior is in great condition, the Bucket Seats have been restored and the Leather wrapped dash and optional 3rd passenger transverse seat show little sign of wear. The AM/FM radio, all of the gauges, windows, knobs and switches work as they did from the factory. Chrome and stainless trim both inside the car and out are in exceptional condition. The immaculate luggage compartment includes the complete set of tools, jack and spare. Also included with the car are Owner History and Service Records as well as Original Manuals and Warranty Brochures.
A “must have” for the Mercedes collector and connoisseur alike, this nicely presented 190SL stands out from it peers due to its incredible condition and originality.
