The BMW is in a beautiful condition, looks great, drives like new, gets decent mileage (my average is 25mpg according to the car's computer, but feel like it eats less, who knows). No check engine lights (has been very reliable), overall mechanically and cosmetically it is an exceptional car. Cosmetically it has few minor flaws, maybe two tiny dents, a light scratch, it does, however, have a cracked tail light, but I believe that is all as far as the exterior goes. The interior is in very good shape as well. It does show its age, however, there are no rips, tears, major stains or mold, overall very clean. The car comes equipped with dual power seats (with many options of seat position) which are heated leather (very comfortable). Also has power door locks, power windows, dual sunroof (panoramic), privacy laminated/tempered glass (no cracks or chips), dual air bags. It does comes equipped with in-board computer (measures and shows mpg, speed, programmable timer for climate control as well as speed limiter. The car also has dual climate control. Also there is a 6 disk CD changer in the back, as well as a new stereo unit in the front that I had installed. The BMW has keyless entry, however, a new remote is needed, I do have two keys that come with the car. I've had the car recently serviced, new full syntactic oil, filter, air filter, spark plugs, hydrolic engine mounts, radiator, coolant change, cooling fan (radiator fan, shroud), high-output headlight bulbs ($30 each), new all-season Michelin soft tires. As far as the history of the car, it is relatively short, it was bought through Import Sears Co. by my father in-law new, it has been my mother's (in-law) car for two years, it has spent most of its life in Indiana but has been in Minnesota for sometime, in the process between, it has been used to go back and forth (Minnesota-Indiana) between our those two houses (majority are highway miles). The car was passed down into my possession a year ago and I used it as a daily driver. Major reason for selling it is to buy a BMW 3-series coupe. The car has been stored in garages/barns all of its life due to that, there is no rust. On the other note, I do have a stack of receipts for the car's maintenance, including the original purchase receipt which was $50,000 and $20,000 in maintenance receipts. This includes all the manuals/books that came with the car from the manufacturer. The car has been in a very minor accident (front bumper has a hair like crack) but nothing was altered whatsoever, meaning, no repairs were made due to no damage (there are shocks within the bumper and the hit was 15 miles an hour so nothing broke, however the report was generated). Overall, the car drives great, looks even better, has full history, ready to hit the road, has been babied (taken care of), as I mentioned $20,000 spent just in maintenance to make the car a happy camper. Many people consider this car very safe, including myself, this car is one that you can walk-away from after having a 70mph crash. Little story, my classmate had a 1995 530i Sedan, he hit a deer that was crossing one of our Minnesota highways, as result lost control and flew over the median and collided with an on coming vehicle. He walked away with minor bruises and scratches...
