The car is mechanically sound and drives beautifully. Engine was professionally refreshed at 150,000 miles-what this means??? This car will go another 150,000!!! Engine was removed from car and cleaned. Pistons were removed and rings inspected. Carbon was removed and head was reconditioned. New head gasket, new front and rear seals, new turbo and turbo line gaskets, new coolant flange and water pump, spark plugs changed, oil pan removed and cleaned, pickup tube and screen cleaned. Oil was replaced with Lubri-moly ultra syn motor oil. New battery installed, new comfort control module, clutch has less than 5000 miles on it. Just performed a coolant flush and installed new air filter and cabin air filter. This car has great acceleration and has loads of features (heated seats, great stock sound system, power sunroof, etc.) Car has clean title. I will try to describe the flaws as best I can...Cosmetically the car has a couple issues. There is a crack in the front bumper, nothing a little bondo and paint can't fix. The car is missing its hubcaps. I just installed a new lower grill and new fog lights. The driver side door bumper moldings are missing, very cheap parts from VW. Mechanically...The driver door window is stuck, can't imagine it is hard to fix this as all other power windows and locks work, perhaps a broken clip or bad fuse, I don't know. The oil sensor light goes on and off intermittently, however, the car's oil pressure tested ok, more than likely a loose connection somewhere. Brake pads need to be changed. Air bag light is on, this is due to a broken wire under the seat which controls the driver's side airbag (The one that comes out of the seat).The interior is in good shape, both front seats have burn through holes from the seat heater wires (both have been repaired and work correctly. Wife and I are expecting and need to get a new car so this one unfortunately must go. It's a fun, quick car with a highly desired motor. I hate to part with it but that's life. I am starting this car at a low price, with no reserve. The carpet was removed from the car and cleaned. There are no smells in this car. I have tried to describe this car as best I can. You can drive this car to your location without issue, however, the car is unregistered and I would not recommend doing so without proper tags.
