I purchased the Volvo C70 Convertible in fall of 2003 when the car was in service 24 months and had 68,000 highway miles. It was a trade-in by the original owner to a dealer in south New Jersey. I'm a retired auto mechanic and have had the car maintained regularly by my trusted local mechanic. It's been my daily driver, so it does have nicks and scratches consistent with a car it's age, but still looks great from a few feet away. The first owner attempted to touch up some scratches near the driver's door handle. There is also a dime sized ding in middle of the driver's door. The car has never been smoked in since I owned it. The front driver's seat bottom is worn and ripped. The seat could be fitted with a seat cover or the seat could be reupholstered. The shifter boot has a rip in it and could be replaced. The navy blue convertible top works perfectly, but the canvas is starting to show it's age. I believe it would need to be replaced in one or two seasons. The rear tires have approximately 3/4 of their tread remaining, the front tires about half. It passed NYS inspection in February. I get 21.8 MPG on premium gas in normal suburban driving to and from my office. The car will make a clunk and squeak when making a three point turn. My mechanic suggested it was the strut mounts several years ago, but didn't recommend changing them as it wouldn't have an impact on the safety or performance of the car. Apparently he was correct as it hasn't been an issue. I have all the service records, original owners manual, two original remotes, and clear title. My only concern is the accident back in 2010. do u have a copy of the accident report or the estimate that was used to reair it. I am hesitant to bid any further without those documents. Yes, I have to look, but I believe I have the paperwork. It was a minor accident at low speed. Another driver tried to go around me on an entrance ramp while I was stopped, he side swiped the right front fender and bumper which were replaced and the body shop also repainted the hood to match. The bodyshop that did the repair work was Lakeview in Rockville Center. They are very high end mostly working on Mercedes Benz, I thought they did a great job matching the paint. I believe the total bill was $2600 but it was paid by the insurance company of the other driver. On Apr-26-12 at 19:09:30 PDT, seller added the following information: I found the work order for the bodywork done in 2010. The shop was Mid-Island Collision at 20 Lakeview Ave, RVC. I remember they put on a Lakeview license plate frame after the work was completed. They do the work for Lakeview Mercedes Benz. The front bumper cover, right front fender and right front wheel were replaced. I wasn't aware the wheel was replaced until I just read the work order. The total invoice was $2642.03 for parts, paint & labor. On May-01-12 at 10:36:05 PDT, seller added the following information: I just want to make a minor correction. When I orginally purchased the car, it had approximately 59,000 miles, not 68,000.
