1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto An exceptionally clean, reliable and well serviced automobile that has been enthusiast owned.This car came out to the Midwest from California where it had been its whole life in 1999 under its own power,yes it was driven,just as you can do now,drive anywhere.Fly in and drive home.Only produced from 1966 to 1969,this year is widely regarded as the best for this model.As Keith Martin from Sportscar market said: "1967 Duettos stand as the highwatermark of Alfa sportscars ,with the 1969 cars,emissions and safety rules kicked in and the cars became increasingly fettered with warning lights and rubber bumpers and the engines lost their free revving characteristics and easy maintainability"Also included in the sale are the original steel wheels and caps.Included are numerous records and receipts for recent and past service and maintenance and parts.The ORIGINAL engine was rebuilt in 1996 along with the whole drivetrain.Too much to list in extensive file.New floor mats and a new top is included to be installed,the one on the car is serviceable.Car fires right up from cold with no smoke or noises,it maintains good oil pressure when warm.Shifts smoothly, stops sharply, and is taught through bends.A fabulous driving experience.There are some minor paint blemishes on rear deck and trunk.Looks like acid rain spotting.This is not a perfect concourse car nor is it a rough project,it is just a great car at a fair price.All inspections welcome.
