1974 VW Acapulco Thing. Non Running. This is a great vehicle for someone looking to restore a Thing. It's all there except for the windshield, drivers side mirror, and the bottom of the rear seat. This is an original Acapulco model. It has the Running Boards, Rear Tire carrier, Hardtop, 6 Point Roll Bar, and all of the window frames. The vehicle has been stored indoors for many years. It has the usual rust under the battery tray, but the rest of the pan looks great. There is also some rust at the front drivers side panel. The rest of the body is clean except for the front end which has some minor damage to the front passenger side. The engine lid needs to have the hinges rewelded. See Pictures. The lower part of the windshield frame is new from The Thing Shop. The windshield wiper motor is in great shape. Have original ignition Key. Clear Title.
