Vehicle Detail

For more and better photos: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/191/025pnb.jpg/ Vehicle history: this 5.0 has the very rare color combo of dark blue with white leather. I have never seen it before on another LX. It is fully optioned and was nearly $20,000 back in 1989. The car was owned by a gentleman in Palm Springs. When he passed away, his family gave the car to a charity, which in turn sold it to a wholesale auction. I bought it from a dealer who bought it at this auction, so I'm basically the second owner. The car had only 39,000 miles on it when I bought it 5 years ago. I have kept it garaged during my ownership and have lovingly maintained it. Body & paint: This car has never been in an accident, and there has never been any body work or paint on it ever. All the body tags are in place. The original paint still looks great. I think this dark blue is the best color for a Mustang, and I was really happy to find this car as it is such a rare color, especially with the white leather interior. When you look at the top of the hood closely, you can see some cracking in the paint due to engine heat, but it is not that bad at all and won't require a repaint in my opinion. There are some door dings on the body, especially on the passenger door where I believe the owners wife must've been parked next to the car. The original top still looks great and has no tears. Basically the car is not perfect, but it has a nice patina to it, and it does not need any paint or body work. Interior: I have carefully maintaining the original white leather with Connolly hide food. There are some cracks on the driver's seat (see photo), but there are no tears anywhere, and basically all the seats look great and don't require any restoration. Mechanical: You can fly and drive this car home even if you live on the East Coast--that's how confident I am that my car won't let you down. The only major thing I ever had an issue with was that the driver's side power window broke, and that was an expensive fix. Everything works on this car, including the A/C, original radio, cruise control, etc. It drives as nicely as you'd expect of such a low-mileage 5.0. I have really enjoyed owning this car these past 5 years, but I have too many cars (4 Mustangs!), and I just want to downsize. I'm a car enthusiasts, and I've owner a number of interesting Mustangs, including a '95 Cobra R. This is one of the best 5.0's that I have ever come across. I would like to see it go to an owner who will appreciate it as much as I have. Please contact me with any questions. I have set the reserve very low and I expect the final bid to exceed it by quite a bit. Sorry, but I will not reveal my reserve. Thank you.
