Please read entire description before bidding The reserve is set at 800 which is less than half of what I have invested in this VW UP FOR BIDS - 1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Fontana Gray Please note this is a project car. It is currently not running or driving. The engine was removed at the beginning of the restoration process. This is originally a Wyoming car that I bought a couple of years ago with intentions of restoring. I started restoring this car and have recently bought another classic VW. I'm running out of storage room, so sadly this one has to go. I have already replaced the rear apron, and I've cut out the left heater channel. I have installed the new heater channel, but it has not been welded in. Also, I do have other replacement panels for the car, new sheet metal (including left lower quarter patch, new rear cross member, and 2 new rear body mounts). This is a very solid project car for someone who is looking for a good start to a project. I do have the original 1200 cc complete engine that came with the car. With this auction, I will also include a 1600 dualport long block that I bought from a VW swap meet last year and was intending on putting in this car. I also have intakes and flywheel that go along with this engine. I just bought a new master cylinder that will go along with the car too. I do have both bumpers for the car that will go along with the car. This car was dismantled in my garage while I was working on it. I have loosely bolted on the fenders and other body parts, so that you could see them in the photos. The floor pans on this car are very solid and will not need replaced. The right heater channel is solid and will not need replaced. Although, there will need to be put a small patch where the rear running board bolts to it. There will also probably need to be put a small patch in the front fire wall where the heater channel is welded to it. Other than that, the car is very solid. I just applied for a new title in my name last week. The state of North Dakota said it could be up to a few weeks before I get the new title in the mail. So, I will have to overnight the title in the mail to the winning bidder once I receive it.
