Hello and thanks for looking! Up for offer is a 1999 Porsche Boxster in awesome condition and only 26,886 miles. This car was purchased by a close friend of mine around seven years ago from Texas with 13k miles and has been garage kept, summer driven and smoke free. I helped him choose this car and now am helping to sell because he is moving to a place he can no longer keep it. When he purchased it, we could still configure it with all the options it has on the Porsche website and it came out to be around $65,000 new when the base price was around $41,000 in 1999. This car has always been adult owned and treated with a lot of care, it is not perfect, no car is, but it looks great, gets tons of compliments. There are normal scratches and a few rock chips here and there and maybe two dings but is all original paint, no accidents or replaced panels. The top is in great condition, it is black in color and the back window is free from cuts or cracks but could use a good plastic window cleaner although it is not yellowed and is still very usable. The interior is very clean, no rips, tears or stains and is loaded with many options you rarely see in a Boxster, let alone one. My friend does have service records from his ownership which mostly is general maintenance and a few repairs, the car has been very reliable. I will do my best to describe the all the options as best I can and will be adding a picture of the option codes shortly. Again, these are some I can rattle off the top of my head, some with prices. 1. Sport Package, $2500 2. Amazon Green Metallic, $3000 3. Two-Piece 18" wheels, $4000 4. Litronic Xenon Headlights, $1100 5. Painted Crests for wheels 6. Full leather interior: whole seats, dash, door panels, console, roll bar hoops, over $2000 7. Supple Leather seats 8. Heated Seats, $500 9. Center Console painted exterior color, $800 10. Hi-Fi CD radio 11. Deviated Carpet, Black carpet over standard tan (Looks amazing!!) 12. Carbon Fiber Instrument Cluster, Big$$ 13. Carbon Fiber gear shift knob and emergency brake handle 14. Carbon Fiber door sills, $850 (drivers side lacquer cracked apart with the Boxster logo but the carbon fiber is still intact. 15. Full power seats with driver memory 16. Instrument gauges in interior color (extremely rare) 17. Porsche Crest in headrest There are more carbon fiber pieces around the dash and console but I am not sure if they were factory or put on by the first owner. I installed the newer style taillights for him, they are factory, not aftermarket. The exhaust is not your typical exhaust, I believe it is a Billy Boat and sounds absolutely amazing!! I never listen to the radio when I drive it, the exhaust is almost hypnotizing, like a Ferrari. The tires have a lot of life left in them, the rears are pretty new and are 265/35/18. The clutch is nice and tight and original. The A/C blows cold, the seats work perfect as do the heated seats. The top goes up and down quickly as it should. The car will be fully detailed for the new owner and a pick-up from the Pittsburgh airport would not be a problem. We will gladly help to get the car shipped as well at buyers expense.
