1974 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible 4 speed manual trans.. This was the last year of the classic Karmann Ghia series . This one is finished in it's original Factory shade of Yellow, ( very 70s ) with Brown interior and Black top. It's a nice "Daily Driver Condition". It was sold new in California and has spent it's entire life here in The Golden State. Still wears it's original issue Blue and Yellow License Plates front and rear. The paint and body are good , not perfect, there are a couple of minor flaws consistant with a car of 38 years old. However, the nose is very straight . The Rocker panels, floorpans etc are all very solid with no sign of major rust issues. It starts easily and runs very well ,the 4 speed gearbox shifts smoothly with good synchros . To sum up,although not perfect, it's a nice original Ghia , with no major issues ready to use and enjoy. To be more specific, it will need a new carpet kit , there is a tear on the edge of the drivers seat, drivers interior door panel pocket is sagging. The dash pad is good. To make it really nice, I would recommend a new seat kit, carpet kit , and door panels . Please also see pic showing a smalll tear in the outer top.
