Hello im in the business of finding vehicles fixing them and then reselling them. I have recently came upon this 1987 trans am gta that i recently purchased in california that had a slavaged title. It was salvaged in 2006 and has since been brought back to life. The last owner had a new paint job put on it as you can see its in great condition currently. The damage was to the hood, the front sway bar and a small dent in the oil pan. I do not see how it was salvaged due to the superb condition its in. I was able to drive it back from california to oklahoma 1300 miles with no problems. This car with only 126000 miles can be picked up upon purchase and driven to new york and back with no problems guranteed. Along with the flaws are the passenger side front light needs a new motor as it needs help to raise up but once raised will stay up. The headliner is sagging, the rubber spoiler is a little warped and cracked as you can see in the phots which is common on these vehicles, and the driver side seat has tears in it at the bottom. But as for the good, it doesnt just run but runs perfect wherever you need to go so you can fly out and drive this car back to wherever. All electrical works, there is an aftermarket system that was put in that cost over a thousand dollars,all new topico shocks all the way around that cost around seven hundred dollars, new thrunder cat back exhaust system that sounds amazing, oil pressure is always at a constant 52 to around sixty two and never lower, power seats and head rest, and power windows, no leaks of any kind. As for the price its the nicest older car i have come upon in my business so if it does not meet the price range i want i would just keep it, because its really a vehicle that you could drive anywhere in and due to it meeting all california smog inspections is legal in all states. FYI even though its a salvage title you can get it put in your name just like any other vehicle and you have to do nothing else and you can also reconstruct the title to new, its whatever you want to do. Also if it sells for the reserve i will put in a new motor for the right headlight. Hello this is last time i will list the car i put the reserve at 2000.00 so this time it should sell. I also have went to the dealership to find the rpo codes but they said the same thing as everyone else there here and there. So as far as i know the options include power seats that adjust back and forth but also fold inward for firm comfort and include adjustable head rest. The gauges are all electric for the fuel, odometer, rpm's, and include a check system which allows you to read kilometers pretty cool stuff. The above center console has the adjustable ball light so that you can see just about anywhere in the car, power windows and locks.
