Vehicle Detail

Here is the story on this car. I bought last year off Ebay and the car was described as perfect and everything worked. Upon receiving the car I noticed several issues with the car including small dents on the trunk lid, curb rash on all wheels, tires about 40% (appeared to be original) and navigation did not work. Being a salvage title, Ebay was no help with any recourse with the seller. I changed the wheels and tires out with ones that only have a couple minor scratches and had relatively new tires. They are the exact same style factory BMW wheels that were on the car when I got it. I have a friend with a car just like this one and the navigation dvd out of his car worked in this car so I know for a fact the it will work with the right dvd. I bought a dvd off Ebay and was told it was a factory original (not a copy) but got taken on this too so you will need a factory BMW dvd for the navigation to work. The car drives great, no noises, tracks down the road fine and the interior actually still has the new leather smell common with most BMWs. The main reason I have this car priced to sell is the A/C. It blew cold when I got it but since it has warmed up I noticed it wasn't blowing cold. I took it to a local mechanic and he said the compressor was bad. The price for him to fix it was around $1200. Honestly I have more in this car than I want already but I am sure it will make someone a really nice car once the A/C is fixed. This is a third car for us and was bought for driving on the weekends so we have only driven it about a thousand miles since we got it. Everything else on the car works great. I have the title and as noted in the auction it is a salvage title. The seller I bought the car from told me it had the hood, left front fender, radiator, condenser, driver air bag and front bumper replaced. This story seems to be correct from what I can tell looking under the hood. The car also has the Xenon headlight option and they work as they should. Feel free to ask me any questions and I will answer them the best I can. I am not trying to pull a fast one on anybody and want whoever gets the car to have full disclosure so there are no surprises. The car looks great, drives great and I probably went into too much detail on what was or is wrong but the car really does drive like it should and is a nice car for the price. I paid $17,250 for the car when I bought it and probably spent $1500 on the wheels and tires so I am taking a big hit on the car but hope the next owner can get into it at a good price after buying it and having it repaired or repairing it yourself. You will see on the Carfax where I registered it in February of this year. I actually took possession of the car in November last year. Call, text or emailJeff 501-786-0962
