This 1984 Ford Mustang, 5.0 LX with T-Tops was purchased in 2011. I bought it for my wife, confident that she would master the "art" of driving a standard. I was wrong. She did not have any desire to switch from her automatic regardless of how nice the car is. Therefore, it is for sale. I purchased this vehicle from a private seller that I knew well and I am confident the car has been well maintained. It is equipped with a 302 carburated engine and has an edelbrock rpm performer air gap intake with a Carter AFB competition series. It also comes equipped with headers and dual exhaust. The motor was rebuilt locally by Lancto Motors so the mileage reflected is not accurate. Others details of the car include: A new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. 5 Speed Transmission New brakes, drums & rotors. Tires are at 85-90%. The paint job is a professional custom paint job. It is copper in color and is airbrushed to a burgundy hue, finished off with a clear coat. I was told at the time of purchase that the total investment to redo this car was $ 9,000. Please keep in mind, this car is truly nice, is ready to drive, runs great and handles excellent.
