Vehicle Detail

I purchased this 1992 300ZX in South Florida late last year and finally picked it up in late January. I recently had it shipped to my home in Maryland. When I purchased this Z car I had just sold my 1990 Nissan 240SX and thought this would be a fun project car. I have owned all generations of Z cars up to the 350Z and this was one I had not owned yet. I recently re-purchased my 1990 240SX and there is not enough room to store this car at my home in Maryland. This car is by no means perfect and it does need a few things. It runs and drives pretty good and has decent oil pressure and does not smoke or make weird noises. The tires are Yokohama AS-430's and they are in very good condition. This 300ZX starts at the first turn of the key and drives really smoothly. I have some maintenance records which date back to 2004. The previous owner due to his job would let the car sit for weeks at a time which helps to explain the sporadic maintenance. Some of the maintenance highlights include the following: January 2006: water pump, upper and lower radiator hoses, coolant bypass hoses, three fan belts. I did not see mention of a timing belt or tensioner so I am assuming it was not replaced. August 2008: clutch slave, clutch master cyliner and clutch hose replaced. September 2009: at 178,319 oil change January 2011: at 181,xxx oil change at a local Nissan dealer April 2011: 181,554 local Nissan dealer performed a check and advised the Z suffers from a dead injector on cylinder #4. **Update: New Nissan injectors have been installed on cylinders 2 and 4; new Nissan shift lever bushings have been installed; the glve box door has been fixed; the ABS light has been reset; the overhead and map lights are now working; the horn button on the right side of the steering wheel has been replaced.** If you win the auction and do not intend to pay like the last "winner" (markstuurifree) please don't bother. Go and find someone else's time to waste. Here are some pictures: If you should happen to have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me via ebay. I will gladly assist the new owner with shipping or pick up arrangements. Please note: I am selling this car only to bidders located in the United States--if you are located out of the U.S. your bid will be canceled. On Mar-29-12 at 16:22:51 PDT, seller added the following information: If you have feedback that indicates you are not able to complete the transaction I will cancel your bid. I might be willing to trade for a 1977 or 1978 Datsun 280Z. The same holds true for a 1986.5 to 1988 Toyota Supra hardtop N/A.
