PREVIOUS OWNERS: The original owner kept the car until aaproximately May, 2010 when the 2nd owner purchased it. The second owner kept it for just a short period of time until I purchased it in September 2010 with 112K miles on it. It now has just under 116K miles. MAINTENANCE HISTORY/RECORDS: Every record from the original window sticker to the last oil change is with the car. All maintenance was performed either by dealerships or independent MB specialists. From 1987 to 1992, maintenance was performed by Sears Imports Merceds Benz (franchised MB dealer). From 1994 to 2009, maintenance was performed by the same technician at Feldman Imports Mercedes Benz (franchised MB dealer), Since my purchase, I have had the routine mainternace performed by an independent specialist at European Motorsports. Most recent service includes new suspension bearings, bushings and ball joints at 100K miles in 2006; new cruise control module and gaskets installed at 104K miles in 2007; new battery at 111K miles in 2009; and LOF, new plugs and rotor and antennae at 114K miles in 2011. This car is well sorted and has been well maintained and drives accordingly. EXTERIOR: The exterior is in very good shape with NO RUST. Ther are a few MINOR imperfections as you would expect with a 26 year old car, but there is NO RUST. There is a paint issue on the driver's side pillar (see picture); the headlight lens is cracked, but the headlight works perfectly (see picture), there are a few road rash marks on the front hood (they don't show in any pictures). Other than that, the paint looks great, it holds a shine and there is NO RUST. The bumpers and moldings are in great shape without the usual scuff marks. INTERIOR: The interior is in very good shape with no cracks or tears in the leather. The headliner is clean and doesn't sag. The carpets are clean and appear to have always been covered. No cracks in the dash. The gauges are still orange, suggesting that the car has been garaged and cared for extremely well. All instruments and lights work, except the clock and outside temperature display. The sunroof works perfectly in all directions. The wood is crack free. Original tool kit, jack, medical kit and spare tire are still with the car. MECHANICALLY: As you would expect from the complete service history, the car is mechanically very sound. It starts right up, idles smoothly and runs well. It is well sorted and ready to drive anywhere. I welcome any inspections before the auction ends and will assist with any reasonable request for inpections by you or your representative. There is nothing to hide with this car.
